How do I share my knowledge and stories?

Wherever you see this icon, you can share your knowledge and stories. On the website, simply click on the box that says “Add a comment” and type in your story. If you are using one of the apps, you have three choices: you can type in your story, or use either the audio capture feature or the video capture feature. Just tap the icon for either audio or video and start recording. The apps will capture the audio and video and add it to the database.

How do I login using Facebook?

If you would like to add a story and have it automatically shared on Facebook, just login to Facebook through the icon right next to the “Add a comment” box. Once you have finished your login, all your posts will be automatically sent to your Wall in your Facebook account.

How do I view videos?

All videos should play easily on most web browsers and through the apps. If you are using the apps, you must have a 3G or Wi-Fi connection. If you cannot see the videos, please check to see if you have 3G access or a good Wi-Fi connection.

How do I walk through the museum?

To walk through the museum online or on your iPad, click on the “Museum” button at the top of your screen. To walk through the various zones, click on the “Next” button on the right or left-hand side of the screen. This will automatically take you through the museum.

What devices are supported?

This project currently supports native applications for iPhone (3GS and 4), iPod Touch, iPad (1 and 2) and many Android phones. The project also supports BlackBerry devices with web browsers compatible with HTML 5 through the mobile website.
