 On Exhibit

This type of slingshot was made from a crotched stick. Large ones used for hunting were 15 to 20 centimetres (six to eight inches) long, while smaller ones were made for children. Small pebbles were used for shot. We sometimes cut notches in the handle of the slingshot to record the number of ducks or other small birds killed.
